Custom Ring Design

You’re dealing directly with the person making your ring — not a sales team.

You don’t need a finished design.

Most people come to me with a rough idea, a reference photo, or just a material they like — and we work from there.

​

I’ll guide you through what works, what doesn’t, and what’s worth doing.

Most custom rings start around $1200, with more complex or experimental designs quoted individually.

​

I’ll also let you know if something isn’t going to work well, and suggest better options.

More experimental designs

I enjoy taking on unusual one-off designs, including pieces that require developing a new process, finish or construction method.

​

These designs can involve considerable testing before I know exactly what will work, so my ability to accept them depends on my workshop workload at the time. Spring and summer are particularly busy with wedding orders, and during these periods I may need to decline projects requiring substantial development, or quote with enough allowance to cover the full development time if things don’t go to plan.

If you have something particularly unusual in mind, getting in touch well ahead of your required date gives me much more freedom to explore the idea with you.
